HR Enbek: How an employee can independently update employment contract data

 

On March 12, 2026, amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan came into force. These changes are aimed at increasing transparency and discipline in the registration of employment contracts.

In this regard, the HR Enbek portal now allows employees to independently initiate corrections of inaccurate or outdated employment data.

This is especially relevant in cases where it is not possible to contact the employer.

 

When correction may be required

An employee can submit a request if:

  • incorrect employment contract data is indicated in the system
  • the contract is outdated or not closed
  • there is no information about termination
  • the employer did not update the data in a timely manner

 

How to submit a correction request

The process is fully digital and takes only a few minutes:

  1. Login to the system Go to: hr.enbek.kz and log in to your personal account using your EDS (digital signature).
  2. Open the electronic employment record Go to the section: “Electronic Employment Record”
  3. Select the contract Find the required employment contract in the list.
  4. Choose an action Available option: “Edit”, “Delete”, or “Terminate”
  5. Submit the request Fill out the form and sign the request with your EDS.
    You can track the status in the “Correction Requests” section.

 

Terms of consideration

  • The employer has 3 working days to review the request
  • If no response is provided, the request is automatically forwarded to the authorized government body

The new rules help to: improve the accuracy of data in HR Enbek, protect employees’ rights, reduce dependence on the employer for data corrections and speed up employment record processes.

Employees in Kazakhstan now have a convenient tool to independently manage their employment contract data. This is an important step toward the digitalization of labor relations and increased transparency in the labor market.
